I spend most days in Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Hills and Sherman Oaks, so when a home in Tulum lands on my desk, it has to earn the trip. Casa 4 at Limas Tulum Residences did.
What it is. Casa 4 is a villa at Limas Tulum Residences on 25 Avenida Sur, Región 12. It’s now offered at $575,000, with 4 bedrooms, 5½ baths and 2,734 sq ft (254 m²) of living space.
Why the area is getting attention. Getting to Tulum is easier than it used to be, with the Tulum airport and the Maya Train, and new commercial development keeps filling in around town.
Who it’s for. Someone who wants a place to escape to that can also earn its keep. The villa has been used as an Airbnb at times.
